Civic Center Lodge / Lake Merritt Bart Oakland

The location was beautiful, the bed was big, and the staff was very efficient. Eggs, pastries and toast were outstanding and overall there was plenty of food. I enjoyed a functional decor and contemporary furniture. Relaxed by the pool, it was great, especially when the weather was wonderful.

My experience was real good here. I stayed in the room that was cleaned and available with microwave, a large mini-fridge, for instance...

Perfect breakfast, large bed, OUTSTANDING staff. Nicely renovated hotel with an efficient business location. Set close to a tube station, which helped to explore Oakland. Room was generally comfortable and functional, at least for me.

the stay was very pleasant, recommend. everything was good, accommodating staff, unbeatable location near to railway, the bus stop, a freeway. the fast check-in too.

The location is super, accommodating service, the staff is dismissive. Downtown Oakland district deserves to be explored. Visited few places in the centre, within walking distance of the hotel. Nice garden and nice pool area. If you need, they offer stable internet.

Good value, met expectations. We appreciated to be here, its location and staff. Moreover, parking was on site. Lake Merritt is close enough to the hotel.

Not far from the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. Had nice dainties at peerless coffee and tea, located right next to the motel. Room was excellent value for money...
